I will recommend United Granite with reservation. They had the quartzite I wanted and were willing to work with me on pricing. However they were sorely lacking in installation. There are no perfectly straight walls in any house, especially a 30-year old house and so I expected more expertise with regard to installation. They did not "fill" the gap between the backsplash and the wall thereby creating a big "valley" as the caulk dried and settled; they also tried to angle the countertop down onto the cabinets instead of pushing it into place from the front (a 69" long countertop ... not so big that two men could not push it into place) thereby gouging the newly painted walls and they did not caulk under the lip of the countertop and the undermount sink (my husband did this himself.) So I will recommend them for product selection and pricing but not for installation.
