We have had several cars repaired here and have used several service advisors, the best of which is Huge McGuire (the only one I would now use). The repairs have been top rate but expensive, as you would expect from any dealership, even when using discount coupons which lower the price to almost what independent repair shops would charge. This repair shop will find out all what should be fixed, which is an obligation of any dealership. The key is to determine what NEEDS to be fixed. Since the dealership is required to use authentic parts, the cost could be significantly more at the dealership than at an independent shop which can use less expensive, non-authentic parts (usually of the some quality - like Bosch). What really bothers me about this and some other shops is that they charge much more (20 to 50%)than the retail price for parts sold at the parts counter. In the end. I choose the dealership because the work will be done right and when: (1) I have the discount coupon because the price is close to independent shops AND (2) there are no alternate sources for same quality and much lower priced substitute parts (sometimes Mercedes requires the replacement of an entire assembly whereas an independent shop can replace just the bad component in an assembly at significantly less expense).

This dealer shop has never returned my car when promised, always keeping my car an extra day (or two) and always manages to "find" extra problems or issues to fix.
