I took my Subaru to the Shirlington Service Center. After leaving the vehicle, I received a call from the Center that my car needed new wiper blades. I was surprised to hear this because the wiper blades were working fine. The Center said they could replace the blades for about $66. Rather than have the station replace the blades, I purchased blades at AutoZone and had them installed on my Subaru the following day. My vehicle then passed the state inspection. I had asked the Center to retain the blades they removed from my vehicle, the blades they claimed would not pass inspection. I inspected them carefully and could find no fault or defect. I believe there was nothing wrong with my wiper blades when I brought my vehicle to the shop.
