Our Whirlpool fridge water dispenser had a very slow stream, even after changing the filter. We suffered with this for many months before calling Buddy. He knew right away that the part the filter plugs into was failing and replaced it. A day later we noticed a tapping noice whenever we dispensed water. Buddy came back and re-taped the water line to the back of the fridge to stop this noise. No extra charge. Buddy is the best.

Buddy has serviced my refrigerator twice in the last month, first to unblock the defroster drain and then to fix a door seal/gasket that I installed. He has been in the business for years, was very polite and professional, and his charges were well below other refrigerator repair firms that I have used.

This is the second review I have written for L&M Appliance Service, and like my first one, I am very glad to give it a five star rating. Buddy of L&M has an amazing ability to raise very old appliances Lazarus-like from the dead. In the past he has repaired the heating element of our decades-old stove, which probably belongs in the Smithsonian, and a belt in a 20-year old dryer. His most recent salvage job involved repairing a nearly 30-year old washer that was not draining water after the wash cycle ended. Buddy immediately diagnosed the problem and quickly resolved it with both some electrical and mechanical work. When I contacted him for this job, he was immediately able to schedule me for the next business day, showed up on time, worked quickly and neatly, and charged a very fair price. As I said in that earlier review I wrote for L&M, the great Checkbook reviews of this one-man company are fully warranted. As a total pro, and a very nice guy to boot, Buddy will continue to get any and all of my future appliance repair business.
