Correctly diagnosed a non-functioning power mirror as a faulty motor. Recommended replacement of entire mirror at cost of $1200. I asked why they were recommending replacing the whole mirror rather than just the faulty motor and was told that it was only available as a complete mirror assembly. I told the service advisor that I was pretty sure that nissan had the replacement motor available (I had already looked online) and was told "good luck with that". I found the, Nissan OEM, part online for $100. They also recommended replacement of spark plugs that had just been replaced at the previous service 5000 miles prior. The previous service was not done at this dealership, so they did not have the replacement in their service records however the technician should have been able to look at the plugs and know that they did not need replacing unless there was a more significant issue that needed to be addressed which they were not claiming.
