I only speak to the Manassas, VA franchise and only to the irrigation discipline of the company. If you intend to install or maintain an irrigation system to your residence - select the irrigation portion of this company. John Maynard is the irrigation manager, supervisor and superior lead technician. He does it all and is friendly, knowledgeable and realistic. And, has been in the business 25+ years, Yes, he and his crew of technicians show-up on time and present a clean image. John oversees and participates as they do their quality work. John will provide fair estimate and you will receive answers to all your questions and options for your budget. Additionally, you will be able to contact him directly.

Green Space was formerly Elite Lawn and Landscape. That company merger with another and they became Green Space. They have better facilities and repair means. Their approach and comprehensive lawn care programs remain excellent. Staff are quite responsive.

Based on some positive reviews, I hired Elite to perform fertilization services on my lawn and to do some minor landscaping. The fertilization services were to be similar to those performed by Tru Lawn and Virginia Green: kill the bad stuff, grow the good stuff. The first two $100 or so treatments consisted of a person coming out and riding on a machine for 5-10 minutes and spot treating areas of the lawn. It seemed a little lax to me, but I figured they must know what they are doing. However, after talking to some additional neighbors, I found that other companies bring a big hose and walk the property and apply the fertilization treatment all over the yard over the course of an hour or so. In my estimation, the treatment wasn't working (weeds continued to grow) and given what I saw, I didn't want to spend any further money. With regard to the landscaping, I provided Elite with pictures of what I was hoping to grow. The bottom line is that they did not provide the correct plants. Elite did do a good job in weekly mowing, but their other lawn services were not up to par. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I think consumers need to know. I wish I had known before spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Please do not delete this post Checkbooks.
