We have just completed a project with Home Works (Sept 2025), to repair and paint our exterior woodwork and powerwash and stain the deck. We are in a townhouse, so this was a fairly small, but far from tiny job. I was completely pleased with Home Works: Convenient to schedule a quote, excellent estimator/salesperson (Conner), great job scheduling, superb power washing guy (James), perfect painting crew (Diego) with – effective and friendly communications, neat, careful not to damage anything, fantastic surface prep/repairs, even, thorough and flawless application of paint and stain. I was also pleased with my brief communications with the owner, George, who is hands-on, involved, and highly courteous/responsive. Pricing – I chose three firms that had excellent rating and were within 5 or so miles of our home in Fair Oaks, VA. One didn’t call back. I met the remaining two. Both meetings were great. So, I went with the cheaper, Home Works. I’m sure there are cheaper firms but I am more concerned with quality and trust than cost. I was delighted with Home Works and found the job to be reasonably priced.

Hired them 8 years ago to paint my house. They did such a great job, hired them again in 2024. Liked the fact the estimator didn't rush, made sure we agreed on what needed to be done. In my case included a wire screen being added on a back vent to prevent birds from entering the attic. They have a very honest approach, as I ask them to advise me if any additional work, regardless of the issue, was found during the house painting. They emphasized that is their philosophy. Hard working crew did a great job. Neighbors have commented on how great the finished painting looks. Have also hired them once before for indoor painting. Would hire them again without hesitation for any job large or small.
