Lions Fence installed a wooden fence for us in 2019. In 2024, 4 of the posts were rotten in the bottom and started to lean. Since then, 4 other posts have started to lean. All have had to be replaced. I called Lions Fence and left a message describing the problem and asking them to come fix it and heard nothing back. The repairs have cost over $1K. I do not recommend this firm and wish we had hired a different firm to build our fence.

In 2017 I contracted to have a three-rail fence installed using ACQ Pressure Treated Pine. The posts were to be installed in concrete. Now in 2024, just 7 years later, four of 22 posts have rotted. Industry standards say posts mounted in concrete should last 25 years. When the failed posts were dug out to be replaced there was either no concrete found or the concrete was poorly applied so that it did not surround the post. Additionally, there was no gravel in the bottom of the post holes, so each post was sitting on clay. Now just waiting to see how many more are going to have a premature failure.
