They never returned my phone calls or emails. I can't rate the work because they were not interested in doing the work. I needed an EV charger, the website list this as one of their tasks but they did not respond.

AJ Long is an excellent electrician and I highly recommend them! I wanted to replace the lighting and wiring along with old ceilings in two rooms, install an outside light, and rerun coaxial cable in an old home. John the owner--clearly with tremendous experience in the business--came out to scope it all and his quote was more reasonable than all others. He had great ideas navigating surprises found in old homes. Bo and Sai both brought many years of experience, did an outstanding job, and were very patient to explain things and answer questions along the way. I also appreciated their observations on potential safety risks with my old house and previous work by others in the place. Austin is also a great addition to the team assisting throughout and handling administrative items. They coordinated smoothly with the drywall contractor and with their long expertise and John’s checking in appropriately, it was a fantastic finished product. They are aware of small communications glitches with the office and I think addressing them, but this by no means had any impact on what was outstanding work. I’d hire them again with no hesitations!

Found this firm by reviewing Checkbook! Three electricians, Bo, Sai and Jordan blitzed my house over a two day period to install a whole house surge protector, replace electrical outlets and smoke alarms. They were thorough, educated me on current code, and made some good recommendations. A somewhat expensive project, but the home is almost 40 years old. A J Long's my electrical services contractor of choice now.
