This is a long overdue review of Roldan’s construction. I contacted him in August 2024, because of the good review on Checkbook.org. I needed a kitchen countertop and cabinet installed. There was a washer connection that was already there. Roldan came to see the scope of work, we agreed on a price and a few days later, he sent his workers. His workers did not know what they were doing, they made a huge hole in the drywall to accommodate the washer’s two pipes. When I stopped them, and contacted Roldan, he refused to come and see the shoddy work, stating he was out of town. His workers kept running the garbage disposal without first letting the water run from the sink tap. They placed three outlets with neutral attached to the positive wire, resulting in 240 voltage. Luckily, a family member noticed the high voltage and an electrician was called to rectify this fatal error. If I could give him zero stars, I would.

Roldan provided a number of handyman and electrical services including power-washing the patio and roof, painting the shed, replacing a ceiling light fixture/fan, repairing driveway area to prevent water from entering the basement, etc. His team did all jobs efficiently and courteously. It was the best experience I've had in all my many years of home ownership. I highly recommend calling Roldan for any work or projects you're considering having done around the house.
