J. Sanchez Masonry replaced a long retaining wall using an engineered design. Like others mentioned, the owner knew more about masonry than many companies I talked to, and the price was competitive. Others pushed for a cheap segmented wall with a gravel base. J. Sanchez Masonry built what I wanted, a more durable, grouted, rebar-reinforced CMU wall with a proper concrete footing. The 4-person crew worked hard the whole time, and the owner was on site daily pitching in. The job would have been finished ahead of schedule if not for permit and weather delays.

We highly recommend Mr. Sanchez and team. He was responsive to our quote request and provided a very competitive price. He completed the work within the timeframe we requested, and the quality of the work was exceptionally high. The team worked very well together.
