The office person was friendly and scheduled an appointment within a reasonable period of time. The repair technician was prompt and very professional. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and recommend repair options.

After our Kenmore refrigerator broke down and Sears Home Services gave us an eight-hour arrival window for their technician and then stood us up, we called Sterling Appliance. Gideon, their technician was excellent. He quickly determined the problem to be the compressor and answered all our questions about what the repair would require. Instead of just selling us a replacement and repair, he let us know the old compressor was still covered under Sears warranty. Unfortunately, we wasted another day waiting for a Sears technician who declined to honor the warranty despite the fact that Sears’ own records provided proof the compressor was under warranty. To top it off the Sears technician wanted to charge us an amount several hundred dollars more than what Gideon had suggested the replacement and repair should cost. We called back to Sterling Appliance and spoke to John, who quickly arranged for Gideon to return and repair our fridge. Gideon arrived on time and did an expert and thorough job of cleaning out the condenser coil, replacing the compressor, and updating the electronics to work with the new compressor – all for a price significantly lower than the one we were quoted by Sears. We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Gideon and John of Sterling Appliance. Should we need any appliance repairs in the future, we will call them first. We would recommend Sterling Appliance to anyone else in need of appliance service and repair.

We've used these guys for at least 20 years. In spite of the long association, we've had remarkably few service calls for any of our appliances, This past year, our 30 year old Maytag washer developed its first issue. These guys came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a ballpark estimate and promised to call back with a firm estimate the next day. They did and when I weighed my options, I decided replacing the machine was the best option. Knowing how particular I am about quality and durability, they recommended a comparable replacement for the machine I had. Exceptional!
