We have used the Emergency Care many times. They are professional on the phone and have a calm approach, even though I may be worried about my cat. They have helped keep costs down by giving me options and explaining the cost of each option and whether or not they recommend or strongly recommend and option or if it is safe to forgo any particular procedure.

They are not cheap, it's like the Johns-Hopkins of veterinary care. But they've saved my dogs life on two occasions, they have a variety of specialists. They are open 24/7 if you need them. Highly skilled staff.

I took my cat due to some lameness. This rating is based on interaction with Dr. Taylor. He prescribed pain meds and COMPLETE inactivity for 1-2 months while advising me that the cat would likely need surgery on both knees. When I called to get more info and advice after research my call was never returned. I got a second opinion and the opinion Dr. Taylor sent to the second vet were not in accord with the information he communicated to me. I think you should rate the Vet separately from the practice, I've previously had good experiences with other vets at this same practice.
