Scott Sakovich has done outstanding work the two times we’ve hired him to refinish damaged teak furniture. We first used him in 2021 when a 40-year old teak veneer kitchen table suffered some serious water damage when moisture from a terracotta pot seeped through the tablecloth and left a large ugly black water mark on the surface. Scott came by, evaluated the damage and how best to repair it, and subsequently took the table to his workshop. Three weeks later he returned with the table looking as good as new, with the damaged area now virtually invisible and the table top armored with a special protective coating for added protection. We have now used his services a second time to refinish a teak coffee table that had discoloration from a few water marks; again, the finished result was amazing, with the table looking brand new. Scott’s prices are fair, and since he transports furniture to and from his workshop (at no additional charge), it makes the logistics a lot easier for his clients. It is obvious from the quality of his work that Scott is a consummate professional who is highly skilled and who takes obvious pride in his work. We will not hesitate to use him again should the occasion arise, and we highly recommend him to anyone needing furniture repaired or refinished.
