We paid six figures to have our foundation sinking issues remediated. They recommended piers installed from the outside on two sides of the house and from the inside on the rest of the house, steel supports in the crawlspace to reinforce the floors, and suggested waterproofing at the same time while the foundation was exposed. We asked them to add on a drain for the rain gutters at the same time as a separate pipe and they agreed. The foundation trench they dug collapsed repeatedly the first few weeks because of heavy rains overwhelming the plywood and 4x4 reinforcement, but they eventually got it despite hitting the house with the excavator when it nearly fell into the trench once. They installed all the piers and waterproofing and passed inspection and the majority of the exterior waterproofing is still rigidly attached to the house a few months later. The rain gutter drain is also working great, although the popup drain created a large washed out section of the hill behind the house because it's not going to any sort of dry well, it just blasts out the popup and down the hill. The foundation waterproofing goes to a separate drain that is also working well although the standing water it collects is a bit of a concern for mosquitos. Part of the project resulted in our 1/3rd of asphalt driveway being destroyed (about 15 yards) which was expected, but when the work was done, we found that all the construction debris including broken concrete, the driveway, the thick plastic sheeting used to protect the dirt during the heavy rains, various pieces of plywood, safety straps, wire meant to reinforce concrete, and many many pairs of gloves were just buried in our yard. When we complained, they took away the stuff I had dug up by hand and called it done even though I pointed out that the debris was literally everywhere. I've been digging it up by hand in the months since they finished, but it's difficult because the marine clay they dug up and spread over the yard as well is only slightly less hard than concrete (and completely unbreakable by my gas powered tiller). If they had made a better plan and done all the piers from the inside, I could have saved tens of thousands in additional landscaping and driveway replacement costs in addition to saving me all the manual labor I'm doing myself to try to clean up the trash they buried all over my yard. Or if they had just carted away their trash instead of burying it in my yard, I would have also still been thrilled with the work. I have complete confidence in my foundation now, I'm just not sure I'll ever be done dealing with the consequences of what they did to my yard.

We moved into new house and quickly found out the basement had major water issues due to years of neglect, including a clogged and poorly installed English drain from years ago and a sump pump that never pumped water. Given the investment we made in buying the house, we wanted to make sure we were fixing this issue for the long haul so we could use the basement without worry of mold/mildew for our family. We hired NV Waterproofing install perimeter wide gutter guards and a new sump pump system and drainage pipes. The NV Waterproofing team was led by HB Jenkins who was absolutely superb!! He did an amazing job of explaining to us the work he was going to do, showing us updates, and then afterwards explaining in detail what was done, why it was done, and things for us to look for in the future. As soon as the work was done, we had heavy rain and a snowstorm. For the first time since we moved in, we saw the water being pumped out to the rear of our backyard by the discharge pipe!! We were so thrilled!! That water would have otherwise been pooling in my basement and cinder blocks walls. We are so pleased with NV Waterproofing’s work on our home. HB Jenkins and his team were extremely courteous and professional and provided high quality work that we can rely upon. We highly recommend NV Waterproofing to others based on our experience with them.

My garage had water flowing in every time there was a heavy rain. NVWaterproofing installed French drains and a sump pump, which completely eliminated the problem. The workmen were prompt, efficient, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after their work. I would use them again.
