C.J. White with McCabe World Travel has been our travel agent for years and has given us really great advice about travel options. He recommended we take European river cruises for which we are eternally greatful. C.J. has also helped us after hours when our air travel was disrupted. What a fantastic travel agent.

Our "personal" agent (I suppose everyone is assigned one) is particularly well-traveled and helpful. She is full of knowledge and, most especially, is clearly "on the ball" in following up on our reservations and regulations.

After reading glowing comments about this agency and genuinely feeling like I could benefit from professional help to improve my family vacations, I left very, very disappointed. This company required a $250 initial "planning fee," and then took 48 hours to present two hotels and a cruise at rates than higher than I literally found in a sixty second search on hotels.com (no other plans, idea, activities, etc). When pointing out that fact, she came back with "late checkout," "free wifi," and "amenities" that I already get with my hotel loyalty status and credit card programs. I was hoping that, in the age of ChatGPT, a travel agency would innovate and focus on a personalized, holistic approach to planning a vacation for a family willing to spend money. However, this was not my experience with Daniela at McCabe, and I left the experience very disappointed, $250 lighter, and with absolutely nothing to show for it.
