I took my cat in because she had been vomiting whenever she ate. They did blood work and nothing else and said the blood tests showed inflammation. I was given a prescription to get filled and give her. She did not improve and I took her to a different vet who found she had a large malignant tumor in her stomach and needed to be euthanized.

We have been taking our cats to the Mclean and Falls Church Value Vets for ten years. We keep hoping they will open a branch in Arlington where we live. They are competent, compassionate, and doing humanitarian work with their innovative business model of posting set fees and keeping them affordable for middle class people. Saved my elder cat's life -- the $100 'senior blood panel' cost was affordable enough that we were able to ascertain that she had hyperthyroid. It's been more difficult to get an appointment, post-pandemic, but that's better than vets who won't take new patients at all. I wish all vets operated this way.
