To replace a worn out interior passenger door handle/locking mechanism: $68.99 parts, $195.33 labor, plus $48.33 for shop supplies! I knew that taking the car to the dealer that I was going to pay a lot for labor, which I accepted, because I knew they would have the part on hand and probably do the repair in one day. But the $48.33 in shop supplies wasn't mentioned when they told me how much it would cost, and it's hard to picture what sort of shop supplies would have been needed to replace a door handle, other than maybe a dusting of graphite lubricant or grease.

My son arranged recall work on our Subaru Legacy. They checked his car and recommended seriously expensive work like needing new rotors. After the recall work was done, he took the car to another service company who said the 1.5 year old rotors were just fine. Unnecessary upsell is unprofessional. I can't rate if they replaced an air bag properly or not nor pricing because Subaru covered that. We will use another dealer when necessary.

Had a very bad experience with this dealership service department. Was intending to buy a new vehicle from this dealer. No way now. Avoid this service department if possible. They did a pre-sale inspection on a car for me, said it was a good car and noted the problems with the car on a Saturday. Then, three days later, they told me the same car had a rusted exhaust system and needed $3,800 to replace that. In addition, they said I needed to spend an additional $2,700 for a new catalytic converter. I never post comments but this experience reflected such incompetence that I wanted to caution others. AVOID this dealership service department.
