All American was knowledheable and responsive, both the office staff to the technician. The office staff followed up and provided helpful information about the issues, the technician was on-time, and the problems were addressed at a reasonable price. Several other companies took a long time to return calls, and then were either reluctant to come to because the problem was not clear cut, or they were in MD and wouldn't come to VA.

Excellent work with reasonable prices. Their visit charge is the lowest I've found.

I had used this company twice previously for a washer and dryer and the tech they sent was great and able to service the machines promptly. This time I called for a gas oven repair and reported that the igniter had broken. I provided the make/model of the appliance and said I had called GE for the part number as it wasn’t online nor in my owners manual. Called Bonnie (owner) back the next day to provide the part number for the igniter and asked if there was time to get the part before the service call a week out. Yes. The tech arrived and said that he would need to order the part and come back in another week or so. I have now been without an oven for several weeks. He then proceeds to try to bill me for the visit. I called the office to complain about the additional charge and said that I would pay upon completion of service. They asked if I wanted them to order the part. I said yes - please call with quote for parts and labor. A week goes by and I heard nothing, I went to a supply store, purchased the part and installed it myself. They finally called and asked if I still wanted service and I asked if they had ordered the part. They said no and I politely declined. This was all pre-COVID for reference.
