Abbey was a last minute pick because we needed a 4th quote for installing LVP in one room and carpet in the rest of the basement. Surprisingly, they had a wider variety of LVP and more colorful carpet choices than the others. We found the exact carpet at Abbey that was our first choice elsewhere, so having heard they were "expensive", we were surprised when their quote came in under the others. Abbey appeared more accurate in their square footage estimate (other vendors "inflated" the sq ftg needed, thus raising the overall cost). So first choice in carpet, better quality LVP, all for less money, we're on a roll, right? How can you beat this? Well, here's how: the experience with the LVP installer was astounding. "Mr. Kimo" worked alone, 9 hours one day and 3 the next, never stopping for food or a break despite our pleas to do so. He somehow dismantled an old track system for the room's mirrored closet so that he could lay the flooring inside there as well. This, and the fact that the walls/ceiling weren't always level, made the job especially challenging, so we were not expecting perfection - but we got it! The floor was precisely set and looks fantastic. Our experience with the carpet installers the next day was also good. They worked quietly, quickly and efficiently and made sure everything was clean and back in place when they finished. The reps at Abbey followed up to see if we had any concerns (no) and to confirm we were satisfied with the work (yes). In 35 years we've used many contractors but this was the most painless and satisfying experience we've had - so much so that we plan to use Abbey for a bathroom remodel. Many thanks to everyone at Abbey, and ESPECIALLY to the incredible Mr. Kimo.

We had them do Carpet. Great job. Didn't scratch furniture or walls when moving it. Put things back where there were.
