Ray and his team did an excellent job installing my new floor—it was completed in just one day. The crew was friendly, professional, and attentive. Ray has also been wonderful to work with, always responsive and supportive whenever issues have come up. For example, when a delivery team damaged my floor while bringing in a new washer and dryer, Ray immediately stepped in to help arrange the repair. I truly appreciate his dedication and care.

I used Floor & Kitchen early in 2025 after receiving multiple bids from hardwood floor installers, with F&K providing the best price for removing existing carpet in an 800 sq ft section of our basement and replacement with engineered maple hardwood. The owner Ray was very pleasant to work with and provided valuable advice regarding the floor options, even venturing out to my neck of the woods in Maryland to discuss with me personally. All work was completed in a single day and the crew was prompt, efficient, and responsive to my many questions, taking care to clean the area thoroughly upon completion. The finished product was beautiful beyond my expectations and I cannot extend enough praise to the workers for the quality of the installation right down to the shoe moldings and adjoining room thresholds. I was so impressed that I subsequently hired F&K to install new patterned hardwood flooring in my library, once again at a very reasonable price and with beautiful results. Bottom line....I highly recommend this company for your flooring needs!

We met with Ray of Floor & Kitchen and selected a LVT, then gave him a check for a downpayment. They arrived as scheduled to remove the current ceramic tile and underlayment, to be replaced by a thicker plywood underlayment and the LVT. Unfortunately, it was discovered there was a water leak under the ceramic tile and I halted the project until I could get it fixed. It turned out to be the dishwasher, which was taken care of and they came back later to complete the work. Due to the floor thickness changes, they needed to return once more to make a door adjustment. There was no additional charge to me for this stop and restart. Ray was great to work with and his installation crew worked hard.
