I cannot understand why this clinic has received high marks. My most recent experience indicates that those high marks are undeserved. I find that their examinations are cursory; their diagnoses and subsequent treatments are not based on logical analysis; and their in-house drugs are massively overpriced. Approximately 1 week ago (around the first week of Feb 2019) I brought my cat in for an examination for a possible eye infection. Dr. French initially prescribe an antibiotic with a steroid that actually made things worse. My cat should never have been given a steroid since his history, already in Crossroads' system, indicated he could have Feline herpes and/or the calici virus. Steroids suppress the immune system so it becomes harder to fight infections. On my followup several days later, she finally prescribed an antibiotic that I told her on the worked when I initially took my cat in. Please note- no tests were done other than a cursory exam. My costs were - over $ 100 for the 2 visits and about $ 150 for 2 small bottles of meds ( an antibiotic/steroid and an antibiotic) which can be purchased online for a total of $ 20-25.

The doctors and staff are the BEST! On our first visit I mentioned that our older rescue dog sometimes acts a little stiff or something and slightly limps on one leg. When Dr. Neff said "lets take him outside to watch him casually walk around" (which he wouldn't do in the office environment) to get a good look at something that was an off-the-cuff comment I was extremely impressed and that hasn't changed over the 4 years we have been going there.
