I waited for at least 8 hours, out in car, with cat that had to be kept in cat carrier to be safe. Although they said it would be a long wait they had given no indication just how long. Emergency veterinary offices are having a hard time but this was terrible. Why not set up a waitlist for those who have come to the office, and have people come back 1-2 hours prior to time? Veterinarian was surly as well. Perhaps they are good at the actual care; fortunately my cat was not in serious condition and so I haven't had to find out. Would avoid if at all possible in future.

I had a beloved dog - best friend for years - who came down with sudden critical heart issues. The Doctor (whose name unfortunately escapes me) was very up front with treatment plans and options, including costs, and probable outcomes, and was very compassionate when the hard decisions had to be made. She gave me appropriate time to say goodbye and let me hold my buddy 'til she was gone. Even sent me a condolence card afterwards. I cannot say enough good things about these guys!
