Wanted my front lawn renovated. They came removed existing grass and soil, fill it in with new soil and re-sodded the lawn. The new sod became very thin several weeks after installation even though it was watered properly. They have come back on three separate occasions, over the last year, to aerated, re-seeded and top dress the lawn, but it now looks worse than when they started. They are planning to come back again this spring and "make it better".

What they delivered ended up not matching what they promised to turn into within 3 months. We paid $16K and ended up with an incomplete yard at the end of the Summer (despite their claim at the time of signing the project). In addition, during signing the project, they did not fully explain / disclose the amount of maintenance work it would take us after they complete the project, which ended up requiring a lot of work from us (that we did not expect when we agreed to pay $16K). If you don't know much about plants, you will need to do additional research / hire someone else besides working with them to verify their recommendations as I highly recommend against relying on their "expertise" as a landscaper company. The plants they chose did not grow as claimed and/or they grew mold (despite the fact that we took care of the plants as they recommended with water and miracle gro at the frequency they recommended). Throughout the engagement (and afterwards), they have tried to upsell and cross-sell their services. This one is OK for us because many businesses do this these days, but just for other readers to keep in mind. E.g. they "followed up" six months later about a task they did not complete from the initial project and wanted to come in and complete that task. On the positive side, they had availability at the last minute despite the peak time, they showed up on time, and came with a large crew to finish the project fast. Not recommended.
