If you are looking for a full service Family Dentist, Dr Bernstein is your guy. Except for complicated root canal and similar procedures, he does it all at his office. Highly recommended.

I and my whole family have been going to Dr. Bernstein for 23 years. He is very good and a nice person, too.

Dr. Bernstein filled a small cavity and crack one of my teeth. I had a lot of pain during the procedure. I've been told by a subsequent dentist that my sensitivity could have been related to the size and/or number of the nerve branches in my tooth. This second dentist was able to address this issue when he re-did the filling that I got from Dr. Bernstein. The filling that Dr. Bernstein rendered me unable to eat on the right side of my mouth for over a month. None of us are perfect. I am not critical of Dr. Bernstein for this outcome. Nevertheless, because of the pain associated with the first filling that I got in Dr. Bernstein's chair, I could not go back to him to have the filling redone (for free). I paid double what Dr. Bernstein paid to have a dentist that was highly recommended to me by a friend to refill my tooth. My takeaway is if you know that you have sensitive teeth, communicate this to Dr. Bernstein with great emphasis. He may make a mistake - we all do at times - but it doesn't have to be excessively painful.
