For more than a decade, has affably provided excellent dental care.

I have been seeing Dr. Musmar for almost 20 years. He is absolutely the BEST dentist!! He is gentle and caring, and does everything in his power to help. He isn't limited to just general dentistry. He has done oral surgery on me on several occasions, always with a good result.

Dr. Musmar is an outstanding dentist. He would rank at or near the top of all the dentists I have used in my 70+ years. However, the staff and the practice absolutely stink. Because of them and their unnecessary pricing and pushing of unwanted treatments I have discontinued using Dr. Musmar and gone elsewhere. I had been going to Dr. Musmar and his predecessors (Louis R. Savarie) for close to 30 years. About a decade ago the practice joined the awful national conglomerate Reflections Dental. They own practices all over the country. And they impose on practices - and their patients - procedures that are unnecessary and expensive. It's all bottom line stuff to them. For example, they wanted me to do some sort of alleged anti-cancer mouthwash when I showed up for a regular checkup. I have no history of cancer, not a smoker, etc. I said, "No." Then they wanted me to sign a waiver that I had refused their come-on! I also said "No" to that. When Dr. Musmar came into the room I told him about it and that I was upset. He shrugged it off. New hygentists replaced old favorites. When one 20-something asked me how much I flossed and I told her, she lectured me - and it was a lecture! - "That's not enough." When I completed a root canal and went home - I was going back in a week for a followup - the home phone rang. They had forgotten to charge me for something and wanted my credit card number to bill that overlooked charge immediately! A 30-year patient - not that they seemed to know or care. It was just awful. So despite the excellent dentistry, I left. And went to a very good dentist who is not part of the Reflections Dental Evil Empire.
