Would never have thought I would recommend Best Buy, but they really seem to have changed the way they approach customer service and product selection. I compare with online options all the time and Best Buy still seems to do better more often than not.

Best Buy wins hands down, when it comes to customer service, very knowledgeable and helpful, with computers and all electronics. Any questions you need help with, they will answer them. Plus this store has a wide variety, so lots to pick from, which I just love. They are more expensive, but the quality is there so worth every penny spent. They go above and beyond, to make sure your satisfied, and that speaks volumes to me, always recommend them.

Through Best Buy's Chat Line, I was approved for Best Buy's Price Match Guarantee. When Best Buy had not credited the difference to my account I contacted Best Buy and they refused to honor its Price Match Guarantee. They said they had no record of it. To receive the Price Match Guarantee, I had to complain on Best Buy's Forum Board. About ten days later Best Buy finally contacted me. To prove that I had been approved I had to send in a copy of the chat transcript and still had to wait a few more days before Best Buy agreed to honor the guarantee. Even then, Best Buy looked at the current website of the competitor and said the current sale did not comply with the terms of the guarantee. Best Buy never requested a copy of the online ad which I had and which showed that the ad I used for the guarantee did comply with the guarantee. From this experience, I learned to keep a copy of the documentation because Best Buy was refusing to budge from its position that the sale did not comply until I provided the chat transcript and could have provided a copy of the competitor's ad if it had been requested. From reviewing Best Buy's forum, it was clear that Best Buy did not always honor the guarantee. In my case, I would have been out over $300. I will still shop at Best Buy, but I will make sure I can prove any discounts that are available to me because Best Buy's first position is that the guarantee does not apply.
