Staff quality and attitudes and attentiveness very variable. A depressing place, a number of problems with patients inadequately attended to in basic care, i.e. left overnight on bedpan. Patient left waiting in unheated area in deep winter awaiting mobile testing for swallow test - A few bright lights in staff, thankfully. Not sure why this place often gets good reviews -

One of the worst places we have experienced. They avoid communications with patients and families and ignore specific information regarding medications and other health-related issues. While some of the staff are very pleasant, there is an abundance of staff with poor and condescending styles. This place is a major disappointment because the facility and food are excellent. I do not recommend going there. If you do end up there, have a strong advocate who is willing to stay on top of the staff issues and press for information. They frequently did not return calls at all unless we were willing to keep calling.
