When I searched for a roofer I was intrigued by the reviews for Len Gibley Contracting: could the high ratings be real? I received several callbacks from other contractors; Brian got back to me within two days and had paid a visit to my home within 4 days. He wrote up an estimate on the spot, and to my surprise was less expensive than other contractors.

In addition to re-roofing the house I needed five skylights replaced and decided to insulate a portion of the attic that would be much easier to do while the roofing was completed. A schedule was set up for the job to be completed in 3-5 weeks, but the weather turned very wet over that time span, delaying the job for an additional 3 weeks or so. Brian kept us informed of the delays and encouraged me to contact the office if I had questions. I always had very prompt responses to any questions.

Picking a shingle color was difficult because my house color, recently painted, was not an easy match. Brian forwarded to me many addresses of homes in the surrounding towns so I could see the options installed on roofs.

I was very pleased with the work Brian and the roofing crew did. The roofers were very courteous and considerate. They put down tarps when they had to come into the house to install the skylights. Two of the workers stayed late into the evening picking up our yard after a days work. The roof and skylights look great, and, most important, the workmanship was excellent!

During the job a piece of construction debris hit the refuse truck and put a dent in my garage door. Brian appeared at the job site shortly afterwards and put in an order for a new door section. He then offered to allow me to hold back $1000 until the new section was delivered and installed. It was his initiative to do that.

I would definitely recommend Len Gibley Contracting to do roofing work.
