I have used Brown's plumbing on multiple occasions. It is a family business and the son is the one I have dealt with. I have always been pleased with them and appreciate their honesty (they have never tried to sell me additional services or products that are unnecessary). They have also recommended ways to limit cost. I have always felt that their pricing is fair.

Plumber arrived on time, and was very cordial. He immediately diagnosed the cause of the toilet that was filling slowly, and had it fixed in about half an hour. I think asked him about two faucets that were leaking, and he said that they each needed a new cartridge, and he had them on the truck. They charge for one hour of labor, and since he finished the toilet early, he did the two faucets. He says his father founded the company, and he has now mostly retired, so he is the plumber! When you call, your call is scheduled by his mother. I was very happy with their service, and they are now the plumber I'll call for any work, replacing the plumber I've been using for ten years.

Brown's plumbing was easy to contact and arrived promptly for the service appointment. Fixed leaking shower head and snaked a clogged shower drain successfully. However, unable to repair two toilets due to need to order parts. Here's where the problem began: parts had to be ordered for two toilets. Never got a call back that parts were available. When I called, Mrs. Brown said that she did not have my phone number although I had spoken with her on two previous calls. Then said that the parts had not been ordered since she would not permit her son Shawn to return to our home since there was mold in the shower. When I explained that this was from the repaired leaking shower head and was being removed after the repair she was insistent that they would no longer service us. Great repairs, sorry they won't give us a second chance. Poor service on record keeping/communication and tolerance. Recommended with caveat that you will have to call them for progress update since they don't follow-up.

I called Brown's when my water meter indicated a leak and, despite my efforts, I was unable to locate it. They came, quickly identified the location of the leak (which was not where I thought it might be), and repaired it quickly and efficiently. Thank you!

Their name's on the door -- and this small family firm does it justice. Service? Always prompt, always helpful, always done right the first time. Have used them for years, actually generations. Started with the father, now with the son. Wouldn't use anybody else.

I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink late in the evening on the 23. December 2025. I called Brown's Plumbing and left a message. Mrs Brown called me the following morning and told me that Mr Brown will be there at 8.30AM. He fixed the garbage disposal and saved Christmas for us. Thanks you!

Shawn (Sean?) came in a timely manner, close to the beginning of the appointment window, took a careful look at each of the items on our "list" and set about addressing each. He is personable, friendly and competent. He offered suggestions at a range of price points for fixing some older taps, but was able to effect a solution with the least intervention/cost. The office had clearly spelled out pricing at the time we made the appointment by phone and Shawn was able to complete the tasks within the minimum call-out (60 mins) period. Brown's prices are comparable with similar outfits but I would recommend them for prompt and friendly service.

Mr. Brown kept his appointment, was on time. and was able to visit close to when I called for help. He diagnosed the problem, went beyond the call of duty to access the replacement parts and replaced the broken faucet system in a single visit. He did not over charge. Seems to be a nice person.

Family-owned business that was so pleasant to deal with. Their son figured out a solution for our "vintage" (1960s) plumbing that did not involve replacing the toilet as other plumbers insisted was necessary. Highly recommend.

We had Fred here to fix a toilet that was running all the time, to check other toilets in the house and also a slow drain in the kitchen sink. He quickly did a great job on all of these not only fix the one but put in parts on the other toilets that would prevent future issues (aging flaps). A few days later our water heater had a major leak flooding in our basement- we called Browns in a panic and he was here within the hour to shut off the unit, disconnect the heating element, quickly order a new unit for us AND install it the next day with Sean helping him. All the staff, including Mary Beth have been professional, friendly, helpful and done a great job! I see why they have an excellent reputation and highly recommend them!

I was very fortunate to find Brown’s Plumbing which is family run. Fred (father) and his son, Sean are excellent plumbers. I had several plumbing jobs, install a new kitchen faucet and repair a busted rear water pipe. I highly recommend them.

I consider myself lucky to have found Brown’s Plumbing on Checkbook! This is basically a family-run business with excellent plumbers Fred (the father) and Sean (the son) and “office manager” Mary Beth (wife, mother), who answers the phone. The company is easy to contact, since Mary Beth is at the phone regularly. Also, they are able to schedule visits without too much delay, and they are entirely dependable about arriving on schedule. I had a rather complicated kitchen-countertop project to accomplish that required plumbing help on two specific days, first to remove my old plumbing and then (after the old countertops had been replaced) to install new plumbing. Since two other companies were also scheduled to work on this project on specific days, the complete dependability of Brown’s Plumbing was a real asset here. When Sean first came, he wisely noticed that what the countertops company had planned was likely going to be incompatible with my 46-year-old kitchen plumbing and might require tearing up my lower cabinets! Fred also stopped by to confirm this assessment. Their experience and insight led to a shallower new kitchen sink being ordered and saved me from a potential nightmare! Despite the fact that having to order a different sink set back all of the daily schedules, Brown’s Plumbing displayed extremely helpful flexibility in rescheduling their second, installation visit, thus sparing me from a long wait without a functioning kitchen. And when, on that installation visit, Sean discovered *another* problem—that the countertops company had drilled too small a hole for the new faucet side spray—he came back later on the *same day* (after the hole had been redrilled) to finish installing the new plumbing and thereby to give me back a functioning kitchen without further delay! I couldn’t have asked for a better service experience from this company! And, as an extra bonus, Fred, Sean, and Mary Beth were each a pleasure to work with! Brown’s Plumbing absolutely has my highest recommendation!
