He was also there to fix a slow draining kitchen sink. After an over $500 quote to snake the drain, the problem was not fixed. He then wanted to charge another $500 to put in a camera to diagnose the problem. I felt like I was getting charge upon charge and getting nowhere so I declined (still with a $1,900 bill!) I called the office to ask when they were sending out an electrician to fix the damaged electrical. They had no idea what had happened with the electrical. The did send an electrician but I had to take half the day off (using my vacation time) for them to rewire the damaged electrical. They did send out another plumber to look at the drain. This plumber told me that the problem was two adjacent right angles in the drainpipe under the house which never should have been done (“not code”) because a snake cannot pass through it. They even showed me a photo of the problem. They said they would fix it for approximately $1000, telling me that after that, they should be able to snake the system and the drain problem “should” be fixed. The estimate they emailed me had the two right angle photos, as additional photos of problems that WERE NOT EVEN FROM MY HOUSE. I emailed them about this, no response. I decide to go under the house myself to take a look. As it turns out, the two right angle drain problem, that they told me plumbers are never supposed to do, this “NOT UP TO CODE WORK” WAS DONE JAMES A WHEAT, A FEW YEARS AGO. But wait, there’s more, IT WASN’T EVEN THE KITCHEN DRAIN! Yes, they asked me to pay $1,000 to fix a problem they created, to fix the wrong drain. And when I asked them to explain why this repair was necessary…. No response. In the end, $1900 paid for: hole in wall slightly enlarged, 20” of PVC replaced, damaged electrical, vacation days wasted, only half the problem fixed, and an attempt to con me out of more $$. (oh, and plumber complained about there being ‘a lot’ of mouse feces that he had to crawl through, yeah, not true, not a single mouse poop per the exterminator, another expense)

Their performance on this project was fine, but their prices were outrageous -- totally unreasonable and through the roof! I cannot recommend this company.

I paid $35 for an advertised plumbing assessment of my house and estimates to perform recommended services. Price estimates were very high and did not include a lower cost estimate to fix a frozen Grohe hot water handle by replacing a defective faucet cartridge, preferring to recommend replacement of two new matching bathroom sink faucets.
