I have been a patient of Dr Blakeman for 7 years and she is professional, competent and listens carefully to my questions and comments. She recently took on more work at the administrative level and offered to switch her patients to other providers in her office, but I did not switch and have not noticed a big change in appointment availability. Her office staff is pleasant and wait time is only occasionally more than 10 minutes. The office uses an on line portal, which I have found to be very useful. Dr Blakeman has always responded quickly to any email questions I have sent her through the portal and it also shows all test results year over year.

For the past year or so, Dr. Blakeman only sees patients two days a week. The majority of her time is spent as a regional medical director for Johns Hopkins. This worked for me until very recently when I had a potentially serious health issue. Could not initially speak with her directly by phone, had to work through her assistant, which wasted time. When she decided that I needed to be seen immediately she had no time to see me. Another physician in the practice saw me and dealt with the issue very well. I decided then to switch to another physician in the practice. I don't feel that Dr. Blakeman has the time to provide continuity of care to patients.
