Excellent provider for traditional Jewish funerals.

It's big company. I would prefer not to be passed on to a new person for each stage of the process.

This review is for Jewish Orthodox funerals only. I don't know how they are with funeral services that they are familiar with, but they are not prepared for this type of service. When contacting them for my father's funeral, it was stressed that we needed this to be an Orthodox funeral which meant that the actual funeral service needed to be done within a couple of days. Before contracting with them, we made sure that they could accommodate this and they said that they could and then the lies began. My father was transported to their funeral home on a Friday and they asked if he needed a shomer to watch the body. We said yes. Saturday, we got a call from the "funeral director". I put this title in quotes, bc if she was really a funeral director, she would have had full authority on a weekend to make decisions. She called and said that there was a problem with having this funeral by Monday (the latest this could be held) because the doctor could not sign off on the papers until Monday. I did the legwork for them (all while dealing with the grief of my father's death) and contacted his doctor who was more than willing to sign off on the papers if they were delivered to his house. Confident that I had solved the problem for them, I called back and asked the FD if all was good and she said..."well...now I have to find out from my supervisor if we can manage the services by Monday". Now mind you, she had said to me that the only thing in the way was this doctor signing off on the papers. That was obviously a lie. She also couldn't tell me when she would hear back from her supervisor because it was a weekend and I quote "some of them might be sleeping in". You can't make this stuff up. On any other day, I might have had the patience for this horrible treatment..but this is a funeral home with no heart and they are not trustworthy. Because we had to make sure this funeral was going to happen by Monday, we contacted another funeral home. Long story short, in a heartbeat they agreed to get this done. They told me that we were the 2nd family in the same week who had dealt with Hines Rinaldi wanting an Orthodox Jewish funeral and the same thing happened to them. We arranged for the transfer of my father and some time later in the day Hines Rinaldi called me back to say they were a go. I told them we were switching and they had put us through hell. As if this was not bad enough, they were still going to charge us for the transport of my father's body even though he was transported there under the guise of being able to deliver services that they had no idea they could deliver. It was lies and then the shomer didn't actually watch my father's body. In fact, he stayed the whole next day not even knowing that my father was gone..but they charged us for that as well. Beware and steer clear if you want a Jewish funeral.
