I scheduled an appointment for a clogged drain affecting two bathrooms. The team arrived within the expected window and was polite and professional. When booking, I asked about pricing and was told the inspection was free and that I’d receive a quote afterward. I had already drained both toilets to make access easier, so the visit was efficient. They used a camera to inspect the line, identified the clog, and were able to push it through. They then ran the camera further and showed me video confirming the pipe was clear. Only afterward was I told the cost would be $450 for a camera inspection, which was surprising since I had previously seen an inspection fee listed as $135. It’s clear there are standard fees that could have been communicated upfront. I also could have removed the toilet myself if that was an additional charge, as I had already done so earlier in the week while trying to clear the drain. While the work was done well, the lack of pricing transparency was disappointing. Better expectation‑setting or a clear price range during scheduling would have improved my experience. After checking Profinder, I see that a drain inspection with a toilet pull typically ranges from $400–$600, and a basic sewer inspection from $250–$400, so the price wasn’t unreasonable—just not clearly communicated. I'd suggest them, but push harder to get price ranges up front so there's no surprise. That way you can shop a little smarter.

We had a sewer backup in the basement. Believe me, that was an emergency. Within 2 hours RooterMan arrived (Zack). He told us the cost for cleaning /checking the sewer drains. He snaked all the way to the end of the property. With no backup in the line, the WSSC was promptly called. The problem was a backup on the street line. He informed me that since the backup was not on my property, WSSC should pay for the plumber and cleanup. All this information was valuable and helpful. A followup call from the plumber to check if WSSC arrived too. A bad day made better. Thanks

Adam, the office manager, returned my call quickly and dispatched Zack, a first-rate plumber and drain specialist to unclog a badly clogged basement drain. The entire experience was beyond excellent! I highly recommend this company for quality and price. The cost was reasonable and the work was perfection.
