Mr. Thomas is a master plumber, seemingly can do everything, and about as nice and easy going as they come. Hope he won't be retiring for a very long time still!

Very hard to get an appointment and have them keep it. I had work scheduled that they cancelled and did not reschedule until I hounded them to do so. They took way too long to complete the jobs. One install of copper pipe leaked and had to be worked on to fix. Pleasant to talk with, but not good at keeping up with. The completed jobs were on, but nothing exceptional. I would not use them again.

They with the basics, but I wouldn’t recommend them outside of a standard clog or pipe issue .

Mr. Thomas and his employees have done a number of jobs at my home. All in all, I have been very satisfied with the work. One job was redoing all of the sewer plumbing and some of the water supply plumbing in the first floor bathroom during a major renovation of the room. All of the work was done well. A big job was replacing the hot water boiler for my house's radiator heat, including having the new boiler do the domestic hot water as well (a suggestion that Mr. Thomas made to me). The work took a while and there were some issues along the way. I did have to help Mr. Thomas with an electric wiring issue. Mr. Thomas surveyed the existing pipes to the radiators and made several changes that improved the routing of the pipes and the head clearance in the basement laundry room as part of the job. The replacement hot water boiler and domestic hot water have been fine since the installation. Mr. Thomas and his employees installed a floor drain in the basement laundry room, which involved some concrete work on the basement foundation slab. It has worked fine. Mr. Thomas referred me to another company when I said I wanted to have the water service line to my basement from WSSC replaced.

We used Mike Thomas over a decade ago to install a new boiler and some baseboard heating. He did a fabulous job at that time and he's a really nice guy. But more recently, we needed him to service that boiler and he charged us over $700 without fixing the problem. I will now seek someone else to do this work, after kissing the money goodbye. Sigh.

Mike Thomas is an old school plumber from Central Casting -- courteous, tenacious, hard-working, and seemingly fascinated by plumbing/HVAC and the challenges it poses. We've used him many times over the years, including for emergencies when he'd troop over Sundays or in the evening after finishing his full day of jobs. Sometimes our boiler problems stumped him, but he wouldn't give up until he figured out the fix.

Michael Thomas recently replaced a pump on our boiler, and adjusted the pressure to address a problem with air in the system. He was very pleasant, did a great job and didn't charge too much. This is the second time he's worked on our baseboard heating system, and we've been pleased with his work both times.

Owner is super-nice. However, despite my detailing in an email what I wanted done, work was not done correctly and was never finished after about 5 visits. I was double billed for the initial work and the work to correct what should have been done the first time.

Mike and Steve are pleasant who are earnest and honest. They arrived on time, let me know roughly how much it would cost and did an excellent job of installing a pedestal sink (a little more complicated than I thought). Steve did a terrific job installing a new faucet and new valves for the kitchen sink. I recommend them and will consult them when it's time to have a new water heater installed.

Mr. Thomas was available when others were not to fix a burst pipe, promptly arrived on schedule, performed the necessary repairs, and charged a reasonable price, exactly as he quoted. We highly recommend him.

He came reccommended by my neighbor. I could not get a plumber I would have used for more than a week and I had 2 leaks. He made time after a full day (arrived after 6PM) and found and fixed both leaks. I am so grateful. He did quote his basic charges to me and parts were a very small fraction of his bill.

The repair requested was to replace the chain in a toilet to the Flush Valve and connect to the handle so the toilet wouldn't 'run' and the flush sequence finished by closing off. This occurred sometimes, not others, and finally not at all. Three phone calls to the company but they never responded.

I have used Thomas Plumbing and Heating about four times but will not use them again. Mr. Thomas himself is a very nice man, but his service is utterly inadequate in terms of promptness. They were always late, sometimes significantly late, and sometimes failed to show up at all and did not call. On one occasion a leaky faucet began to leak again barely a month after it was repaired.
