Tim Whistler managed to fail at every stage: admin, scheduling, the actual work, and the follow-up. I had to give my name, address and full project details every single time I called — even to schedule a job from a quote their own tech had written me. The appointment was supposed to be first thing in the morning; the plumber showed up 7 hours late despite me repeating the timing need three times. I had to call myself to get updates. I also had to delay other contractors. The work they did left a new leak that wasn't there before. Other contractors on site called the work the plumber did lazy and walked me through how it should have been done. When I called Tim Whistler back explained the mistake, the replacement tech the sent couldn't even work in the crawl space, had no idea what his own colleague had originally advised me and tried to upsell me on a whole replacement instead of a simple repair, when I pushed back he instead quoted me $500 to fix their own mistake. Go elsewhere.

I've used this firm previously with good results. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. I asked for an inspection of various items, including a malfunctioning faucet and old copper pipes. The inspection was adequate, but I then received price quotes far more expensive than other firms charge. For instance: $671 to replace a single customer-supplied faucet -- another firm did the work, repairing two faucets I supplied for $520. The firm quoted $331 to supply and replace two washing machine hoses, which are easily accessible. I paid $35 for two new hoses and replaced them myself in 15 minutes. Another plumbing firm gave me more in-depth information about the condition of my old copper pipes and will likely get the job to replace them. Very disappointing that Tim Whistler service has apparently declined.

Price for snaking two drains was outrageous- they charged me over $800. Technician was here only 1 hour. He also broke the stopper mechanism on my sink and then wanted to fix it for another outlandish price.
