Was redirected to Dr. Sean Thayer after having a test for fungus come back, as only he and one other doctor see patients with that. Didn't expect the redirect, but he has lots of openings within two weeks so it was an improvement over the 2-month wait. He is quite knowledgeable and approachable, but sometimes contradicts the other Doctors such that the nurses and after-hours service gets confused. E.g. I was told to only soak once a day, not twice, which prolonged how long the bandage stayed on and freaked out the HealthPartners nurse line. Saw him again within the week and he was able to get the bandage off and resume his plan, not theirs.
