First, their design process is EXTREMELY slow and requires lots of weekly meetings that are very repetitive; the same information is repeated over and over. It takes forever to get your kitchen designed. Partially because of that, their design services are very expensive. I paid $1500 in design fees and you can easily spend $3000 or more in design fees, depending on the options you choose. Even after paying those fees, they refused to give me a list of cabinets they were recommending so I could request a price quote elsewhere. Their goal is to "lock you in" so you cannot buy cabinets from anyone but them. Finally, their cabinets are good quality, but very limited in choices and high priced.
Go to Performance Kitchens only if you want a very upscale kitchen, you have lots of time to spend in meetings, and you are willing to pay high prices for lots of hand-holding service.
