Steve Schoen replaced our old bathroom faucet and drain with a brand new set. All I can say is WOW! He did an amazing job! You can tell that the work was done by an expert and he left everything meticulously clean and tidy. His rates are so reasonable and he's simply a really nice guy. By far, he's the best plumber we've ever hired, and he will now be out go-to person for all future jobs!

Used Schoen Plumbing based on positive reviews from Checkbook. After 2 service calls was told a new toilet was needed & payment for each. He offered to pick up the toilet with no mention of a pickup cost which he later added to the bill. Cost for installation of new toilet was higher than norm. Would not use again.

Nice guy. He was able to fit me in his busy schedule to do a medium sized job. I also asked if he could check out a couple of other minor issues, which he did and fixed them after he completed the main job. He does very good work. His price was fair. Highly recommend.

A relatively simple fix in concept, but difficult in execution. Cost depended on the time it would take. In the end, it went well and was completed to our full satisfaction and we were charged his basic rate.

Steve Schoen has taken care of the old plumbing in our Arlington house for about 15 years, including many times needing drains snaked and various other issues. He is so pleasant to deal with, always responsive and willing to come by when needed. He provides excellent advice and does outstanding work. We would enthusiastically recommend him for any plumbing issues!

Steve Schoen replaced a toilet for me. He showed be the cause of the rust on the existing toilet. His work was excellent and his price reasonable. I plan on using him for my future plumbing needs.

Based on reviews on the website I contacted Steve Schoen, the owner. My kitchen sink had been draining slowly for quite some time. When boiling water and a plunger stopped working, I had to call in the professionals. Steve Schoen is certainly a professional. The clog was far down in the pipe but Steve had the necessary equipment to reach it and persisted until he was able to clear the clog. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again for any plumbing issues.

I reached out to four plumbers highly recommended on Checkbook. Steve was the only who called me back and was willing to provide service. One of the other three plumbers said he did not service my area even though his address was nearby. Steve was so accommodating and willing to help, although he was booked through the holidays, he worked me in between two jobs he had before Christmas. He is a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with! I have definitely found my go to plumber!

I was impressed because the first time I called and left a message, he called me back to say he was too busy, but could respond in about two weeks. Another plumber that I used did not respond to two messages. The second time I called Schoen, I was quickly put on the schedule.

Steve Schoen has done our plumbing since we moved to Virginia in 2016. He does excellent work and since he himself is the provider, I know what to expect when contacting him. This is unlike the large firms where a different technician is assigned every time.

Stephen Schoen has done all out plumbing work for the past five years. He is a one man shop but can deal with all plumbing needs. He may not be the least expensive option but the job is done right and in cases of emergencies makes time to arrive when called.
