Nice to find honest, reasonable and qualitative companies these days. Pond is one of them. They were very responsive and were the first ones out for the estimate. Joe Gajewski came out on time and checked out my roof. My son had thought it may need replacing (installed 2012) due to some plywood softness. Joe was very knowledgeable and honest and provided a very detailed estimate. He agreed however that the roof may have a few years of life left. Their pricing seemed higher compared to the other estimates however they've also been around since 1964 with top ratings. I would highly recommend checking out Pond Roofing.

I solicited four bids for a routine roof replacement. One company declined to bid at all because of my roof's structure. Of the remaining three, Pond was several thousand dollars higher than the other two; those two bids were quite close together in price. All companies planned to use the same shingles from the same manufacturer. While Pond's proposal was detailed in describing the steps required to do the roof replacement, it was less detailed than the other two proposals regarding the breakout of pricing for the various components. This made it impossible to see why their bid was so much higher than the other two. I highly recommend getting proposals from several companies before making a final decision on which company to use. Pond is a well-established company that is highly recommended by reviews in Consumers' Checkbook, as were the others that I solicited bids from. But based on a proposal with a price far outside the range received from other well-established companies, I felt they were not competitive for my project.

Did a great job! Normally I obtain three estimates. Pond was recommended to me and was fine with their estimate. FYI on roof jobs - replacement/installation of the roof vent causes much debris to fall into attic! I needed to clean that up which would be the same for all roofers.
