Inventory in stock limited to higher cost tires. Would had to wait for the economy versions to be shipped Counter person was persistently in trying to sell four tires instead of the two needed. Positive note was that the tires installation and alignment was completed in an hour

I set up an appointment for an oil & filter change and a tire rotation. The service tech documented the make and model of my vehicle, and included the type and grade of oil I wanted at the advertised price. Next day I'm frequently checking my cell phone to find out the status of the service. I received one unintelligible voicemail around 8:00 a.m.. The voicemail included no indication that it had come from Mr. Tire. I could make out nothing after listening to the Voicemail 4 times. In early afternoon I go to Mr. Tire to check on the status of the service. They tell me they've tried to call me multiple times (research later shows it was twice). I told them I had been monitoring calls and voicemail, and had to deal with multiple spam calls while awaiting their call. The manager tells me that my car takes 6 quarts of oil and that the extra oil will cost me $22 for one quart. I tell them I can supply them with 6 quarts of oil for the oil change if they'd like. The manager tells me that they would STILL charge me the initial advertised price, even if I supplied my own oil an filter. I declined the offer. Based on the make and model of my vehicle, they could have and SHOULD HAVE told me upfront that the work would coast an extra $22. Why the oil cost $22 a quart when the full retail price of that quart 2 blocks down the street is $12 and change....well, I'll let you figure out whether they are price gouging. Bottom line: this location of Mr. Tire practices bait & switch on prices and can't be bothered to keep you informed of issues with a service order.
