They go the extra mile to make sure everything is right. Occasionally do little extra things we need that were not planned.

Dave, the owner of DC Electric, agreed to run an ethernet cable from a basement room to my office for $150. My office is directly above that room. The stairs were next to the room. Under the stairs there was a working ethernet cable box that was used to connect to the internet. That box was accessible because it was attached to a stud on the backside of the wall of the room. There was not any drywall. Two men came and drilled a hole in the office drywall rather than drilling up from under the stairs. They nicked the side of the drywall because they eyeballed the location rather than measuring where to drill. They ran their cable and plugged it into that working cable box. They were here 40 minutes and left without checking to see if their connection worked. When I tested the connection, it did not work. I called Dave. “I do not know anything about computers. I just run wires. That is someone else’s job to get it to work. The job is going to cost me over $600 to fix and I will not get any money out of it.” He promised to call me on Saturday to install a new 20 or 25 foot cable. He never called. The following Friday I called again and gave him 5 afternoons I was available during the next week. I did not hear from him.

Have worked with for several years and projects. He's gotten more expensive and he's been downright awnry last time I hired him.
