Richard definitely knows his stuff, and he is scrupulously honest in letting you know what needs to be done and what it will cost. He is, however, a one-man operation, and it is sometimes difficult to contact him. He is indeed having problems with his knees, but as recently as May 2021, he came out and handled some repairs for us.

Richard is no longer in business. He told me that his knees have finally given out. I know he has had continuing problems with them. It's a shame, as he is an excellent plumber. I wish him the best.

We have left phone messages twice in the past week, describing our needs and leaving our contact info. We have received no response. Their past ratings are very good, but I am giving up on trying to get their help.

I called Richard out to fix a broken faucet that was leaking. He said that the faucet was cheap and it'd cost more to replace than just buying a higher quality part. I really appreciate his frankfulness about that. However, I called another plumber to get a second opinion and they had no problem fixing the current faucet. As a result, I was a bit disappointed that Richard couldn't fix the current part at a reasonable price. But perhaps he was looking out to the long term.

Had a leak, we called, he came same day, found the leak quickly, fixed it affordably. He was neat and nice to work with. Will keep him as our "go to" guy-always good to have.
