Ray was fantastic as he guided our family through the process of choosing products and designing our kitchen. At the very start of the process, given rough measurements taken by our family, he was able to provide rough ballpark estimates, which other firms refused to do without visiting. When he came to the house to measure (a long ride from Sterling, Virginia to Olney, Maryland) he stayed over an hour and a half to answer all questions. We had an idea of what we wanted and he was willing to provide samples to help us to complete our vision. He then priced out different options willingly. He was always patient, friendly and helpful. He answered our phone calls promptly and was always flexible. He coordinated all the tradesmen effortlessly and the job was completed on time. We love our new kitchen.

I recently hired Floor and Kitchen, Inc. for a complete renovation of my kitchen. They far exceeded my expectations, even after reading the great reviews of his services. The owner/designer Ray is very talented, creative, honest and collaborative. He also becomes personally invested in your project, delivering the kind of care and concern one would reserve for his own, personal project. I enjoyed working with Ray from concept to execution-- exchanging ideas, learning from him and remaining stress and worry-free during the entire process because of his superb project management. The process flowed smoothly, without any delays or disruption-- from cabinet to quartz and backsplash installation. No detail escapes Ray’s full attention. He was always on top of things, calling, e-mailing or visiting to make sure that everything ran smoothly and that the highest quality was maintained. I was also impressed by the great quality of his crew. They were all highly skilled, dedicated, polite and professional. I was especially impressed that they had all worked with Ray for many, many years. The entire project, including repairing floors that had to be removed during the demo, took just 3 weeks—exactly the amount of time that Ray had estimated. Everybody is impressed by my new kitchen, calling the transformation “unbelievable,” and the design and quality of material superb. Last but not least, their prices were very reasonable. My husband and I were extremely pleased with both the results and the process. I can’t recommend Floor & Kitchen highly enough.

We can add to the accolades Ray gets for shepherding our work through to a very nice finish. We had our kitchen countertops and cabinets replaced, remodeled the adjacent powder room, and had several rooms (including the kitchen) repainted. The crews Ray used were all very competent and diligent, and took care to protect furniture. They even bonded with our rambunctious beagle/terrier mix :). Overall, other than some small delays in obtaining the backsplash due to tariff-induced supply chain chaos created by the useless bunch squatting at 1600 Penn, there were no hiccups. We can definitely recommend this business for kitchen remodeling and interior repainting.
