Decor Floor and Kitchen, Inc. of Sterling, run by Ray Ziamanesh, is overall the best contractor that my wife and I have hired in several decades of renovating our home. Ray designed a perfect arrangement of cabinets and sliding shelves for our kitchen space, projected the start of the project within a month, and completed the project within his predicted two weeks. Deliveries, demolition, and installation went according to schedule. Installers David and Oscar displayed an impressive array of skills: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Ray made a point of inspecting the completed installation to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Given the high ratings of Decor Floor and Kitchen, which we found initially on Consumers' Checkbook, we did not feel the need to take the time to request other bids for our project. One and done worked for us and met our expectations for the firm's work.

Ray was really helpful in figuring out how to make the most of our kitchen layout and pointed out a few things we hadn’t even considered before starting the project. He paid close attention to the little details during the installation, and everything from the cabinet alignment to the finishing work came out exactly the way we wanted. We’re very happy with how the kitchen turned out and would definitely recommend Ray.

Ray made our cabinet remodel feel much less stressful than we expected. He helped us choose cabinets that made better use of the space and paired nicely with the new quartz countertop. The installation came together well, and the doors and drawers all line up and work smoothly. Our kitchen feels more organized, brighter, and updated now. Highly recommend!

Countertop Intelligence

While granite is still popular, the most popular kitchen countertops are quartz, which looks like stone but is actually a mashup of minerals and resins and usually colored with patterns that mimic granite or marble. No matter what type of material you select, you can save plenty by shopping for the best price.
