We had an older roof and were getting leaks, so we wanted to get to it replaced soon. Scheduling the work was fine, but we needed to follow up a few times with Shiner to get various things fixed after the installation (some screws from the gutter guards got caught under the shingles, causing them to stick up, and they forgot to instll some flashing).

Our roof developed a leak after a particularly ferocious thunderstorm and the house was relatively new construction. We needed a roofer in a hurry and we actually found them in Consumers' Checkbook. They arrived when they said they would, couldn't find anything obviously wrong with the roof but when they went up they found that the builders had either taken a shortcut or rushed some work up there that would cause water to get inside if it came in fast and at an angle. That's why it took a severe, blowing rainstorm to make the defect show itself. They fixed it in short order and the cost of repair was fair.
