Family owned. Prices not given in advance. Have to keep your credit card on file or they will not come. After job is completed, often do not know price until money is charged to credit card. Also, I called for work to be done & was told to call back in the Spring cause the plumbers too busy with heating problems.

Had two bathrooms remodeled with extensive plumbing replacement and some tile work. They were able to perform drain replacement, install new sink/vanity, toilet, and shower valve in one bath in a day and a half. The other bath needed a new tile floor, which took longer, but the whole project was completed in nine and a half working days; the estimate was two weeks. There were no add-ons to the original price, even though there were a few unanticipated problems.

Gans is a small family run business. You have to have your credit card on file or they will not schedule an appt. for someone to come. You are billed from your card on file. Often, you do not know how much the cost is until weeks later, and of course, after the work had been completed. Then, you are mailed a receipt. Some service persons are friendly & other are exactly the opposite. However, the work is excellent from experienced plumbers. The billing statement often just gives the sum total without specifics. This is not fair, especially if there are multiple areas that need repair. Also, high cost for jut coming out. Also, very high costs for the work
