The owner Johnny is honest and efficient. Have been going for years. The one down side is his location on busy Henry Street with little parking -- I always tell him to move to a more spacious location.

Johnny is the only mechanic we fully trust with our two Subarus (Outback and Ascent). One time I got an estimate from another highly visible Del Ray auto center, and when I called Johnny for a second opinion via phone, he actually laughed upon hearing the other quote. The other service was charging us for a huge set of part when we only needed small portion of it -- Johnny saved us $1000 that day. If he doesn't see anything wrong, he will tell you as well.

I've been going to this shop for years since when Mr. Jung was the owner. Mr. Jung is no longer here and Johnny is the new owner. He charged me for an expensive repair which didn't fix my problem.
