we used Jordan River Moving to move our items from another city to Seattle. The packing was very poor--many breakable items tere just thrown into boxes with no paper or bubble wrap. Not surprisingly, we had high breakage and a lot of damage to furniture. (very painful to see our stuff handled that way)
Most concerning, was they tried to charge us for extra weight--over 1400 pounds extra! We knew their estimate was incorrect because we had recently moved and sold several heavy furniture items, donated books, etc. We demanded a re-weigh and had to spend 7 hours watching them unload and reload boxes. While they didn't charge us for the 'extra' weight, they didn't apologize or compensate us for our time.

Good Lord. Stay away! Ragtag team of non-English speaking guys. Could have just went to Home Depot.
