This was a complete debacle from start to finish. The work itself was first rate, but everything else was handled incorrectly. However, the BMW service department on Rockville pike took pity and gave us a sweet loaner.

They proposed charging $3,000--three times another non-dealer-related shop estimated--to fix a small dent and some serious scratches. They said they'd look into what they could shave off and get back. They never did. The place has a respectful, knowledgeable manner, but you can get as good work for much less.

Despite repeatedly telling them an accident caused an vehicle component to fail, they would not take the time to have the main VOB service look at it.
