Beware: This company is a huge rip-off. I called them to make sure my old house's electrical system was working properly. The technician checked it out and told me I had knob & tube wiring and that this needed to be replaced immediately. He gave me a quote of $40K based on tearing down all the plaster and lathe walls throughout the house, which I would then need to hire a separate company to repair. The electrician I hired later (for $2300) did the job without tearing into any walls at all, so that would have been completely unnecessary and I feel was only included so as to drive the price way up. By the way, it turned out that the knob & tube wiring had been previously disconnected and therefore was no longer an issue. I think that Service Champions was just trying to scare me into a completely unnecessary and massively overpriced "fix".

I was very impressed with the quality of service at Maine Electric. The electrician was friendly and knowledgeable, and he went out of his way to make sure that my electrical problem was fixed properly.
